Pediatrics screening aid
Primitive reflex screening
Check the signs you have observed, then see which primitive reflexes they are associated with, along with integration activity ideas. The checklist deliberately does not label signs by reflex, so you answer what you see before the tool suggests a pattern. This is an education and screening aid, not a diagnostic tool.
Screening aid, not a diagnosis
Check the signs you have observed. When you are done, the tool will show which primitive reflexes those signs are associated with. This is an education and screening aid, not a validated diagnostic test; signs overlap with many other conditions. Nothing you check is stored or sent anywhere.
Sources and limitations
Signs and activities are compiled from pediatric OT clinical and educational references. Retained-reflex integration is widely used in pediatric practice, but per StatPearls (Primitive Reflexes: Comprehensive Neurological Assessment Across the Lifespan, NCBI Bookshelf), reflex-integration assessment scales have not achieved broad validation or formal endorsement by major pediatric or neurologic organizations as standardized screening instruments. This tool reflects that: it organizes observations and points toward professional assessment rather than providing a diagnosis. Draft content pending clinical review.
